The benafists of playing board games with your kids

There are a number of reasons why playing board games is important for your
children and their growth and development.
1. Reading: A fun way to teach your kid to read. 2. Counting: Counting the dice and then counting the moves is the perfect way
to teach kids to count. They have no idea they are learning. They are just
having fun.
3. Winning: Teaching your kid how to win greatly. 4. Losing: Teaching your child how to lose without being a sore loser. 5. Bonding: Playing board games takes time. By taking the time to play board
games tells your kid you want to spend time with them without them acting out.
6. Cheating: You will be the one to teach your kid to cheat or not to cheat.
Allowing your child to take more moves then they are exposed to allows them to
learn it's ok to cheat.
Our children learn from what we do and how we do it. Family game night tells
your kids "I plan to spend time with you now and in the feature." When the kids
get older it's harder to keep family game night but keep it
going as long as you can. Invite your kids' friends to play at least once a month or so.
Just because your kids are getting older and want to do other things instead of
hanging out with the family doesn't mean you should stop the family game night.
It just means open up to include other family and friends to game night. It just means

           Yes you do need to work with them. If you don't they can fall behind. They lose letters, numbers, and sounds. It is very hard on them. All you need to do is work with them for one hour a day. It is easy to do. Reading goes a long way in keeping their minds working.

           You can do a lot in an hour. Read, do some math, and ask questions. Finding activity they will like can be easy and fun for them as well. Allow them the freedom choosing their activity books or reading books.

Mother's Day is coming

Thinking fast

         Kids can say the oddest things when you tell them to do something. My kids tell me, "I don't have to." or "I'm just a kid. I'm not suppose to." or "I don't feel like it." What? Their father and I are no longer together so his girlfriend will tell my kids they don't have to do any of that. What? I really want to know that who told her she could tell my kids they don't have to listen to me.

          I put my kids in their rooms. If they don't want to clean up after themselves they don't have to. They get to set in their rooms until they fell like cleaning up their mess. It takes about not even a minute. They don't like to have to set in their rooms.
